This morning my friend told me how a baby was drowned in a drain in his village last night. I was dumbfounded and was unable to swallow my food after that. How could it be possible for someone to leave a one year old baby boy alone in the house compound to learn to walk on his own?
The mother was completely exhausted after traveling on a long journey attending courses. She was fast and sound asleep in the room. And the father had brought two other children out visiting some places.
There, was the eldest child, barely 10 years old, taking good care of the little brother in the house compound.
Then the baby started to cry for milk, so she rushed very fast to the kitchen to prepare some milk for the baby.
When she came out with the milk bottle, she couldn't see her baby brother. She got panicked and searched the whole compound, but she just couldn't find her brother. Then she started to scream and cry. Many nearby neighbors hurried out. The father returned, the mother woke up and rushed down the stairs. Then they found the baby drowned in the nearby drain. It was too late....
Then many started to point fingers, blaming the parents and the child.... It was a sad sad incident. It must have ripped the family's heart apart...
I just can't swallow my food after I heard the incident. But I felt sorry for the family, they had to swallow their tears in silence, mourning and grieving miserably for their baby boy.
Let those who have no sin cast that first stone.......

Sorry to hear about that too. I am holding no stone....
Another sad story. I am hearing more and more about small children being left alone.
Such a sad story. Poor baby.
Passing by to wish you a good Easter Sunday.
Regards.
You know? It is really sad that these things happen, but why do we always have to blame? This baby was not unattended. It was an unfortunate accident. Little ones are so quick, and they can really get in a pickle before we know it...especially when they are so young. They just can do more than we really realize.
Once, my little boy was about the same age, and he got out of our home. We had NO IDEA that he knew how to open the door. Fortunately, it was discovered very quickly. There was actually concern that he was taken. When all was said and done we discovered that he dressed himself and let himself out of the back door. It was a frightening ordeal, and I was never more relieved to have him safely in our arms.
Things like this happen to responsible people. It also happened to our neighbor a few years ago. They were terrified looking for their little boy that did the same thing. Fortunately, he ended up at our house, and I was able to empathize with them having experienced something very similar many years before. The dad and the baby were taking a nap and the wee one woke up and left the house with the dad still asleep in his bed.
It's unfortunate, but these things happen all too often. No one is to blame. It is just a very, very sad event. My heart aches for that poor family.
this is shocking...
i always attended to my two little angel for almost of the time, sometimes i became nervous of what happened to them ahead in time, so be sure i check them every seconds and minutes of their life. because they are my treasure at hand. later when they grow old, its just a loosening of taking care them and back to normal again.
This is a very sad story, hope this will not happen to my baby...I long for a baby for a long time, then now God gave me this special gift. As I observed my baby is growing up as a fast learner, he can do what he saw from us, especially when we are cooking. So what I did, I hired someone to look for him.
I can feel what this family felt, they don't want to make it happen for their baby, now, they felt the grief and regret in their heart.
